Niklas Olsen - Assistant Professor at CEMES.
Niklas Olsen holds a ph.d. from the Department of History and Civilization at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy with the thesis "Beyond Utopianism and Relativism: History in the plural in the work of Reinhart Koselleck", which he defended in May 2009.
Lately he has published the book: "History in the Plural: An Introduction to the Work of Reinhart Koselleck", Berghahn Books, 2012.
Niklas Olsen’s current research project focuses on reconstructions of liberalism in Denmark and the western world from 1945 to 1970.
At CEMES Niklas Olsen will take part in the interdisciplinary collaboration of the center and he will be an active figure in the further development of CEMES' education initiative on European Studies in collaboration with the departments of the Faculty of Humanities.
