Landscapes, communities and cultural heritage
Open seminar aiming to build a new research agenda of exploring the potential of redundant church buildings in the regeneration of rural landscapes
The purpose of the seminar on ‘Reconnecting landscapes, communities and cultural heritage’ is to build a new research agenda of exploring the potential of redundant church buildings in the regeneration of rural landscapes. We work in the intersection of landscape, church building and community.
The interacting research fields are: re-uses of church buildings, social rural innovation and entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage management. The workshop will have an interdisciplinary approach with a special focus on mobilization of local communities.
The seminar is held in collaboration between Centre for Modern European Studies and Faculty of Theology.
All are welcome.
