CEMES GRANTS – Spring 2023
Call for applications for research activities planned for 2023.
Maximum DKK 50,000 per application.
The extended deadline for submission of applications is 17 January 2023 (h 23:59)
Applications must be submitted electronically as a single PDF to the CEMES coordinator Emil Eiby Seidenfaden.
All members of faculties planning activities falling under the topics and aims of CEMES are invited to submit applications. Applications for funding of interdisciplinary activities should have modern Europe from 1500 onwards at its centre, have a significant bearing on contemporary matters, fall within the CEMES research themes, and take place at the University of Copenhagen.
The Centre for Modern European Studies aims to coordinate and develop research and education in European studies based on a broad interdisciplinary collaborative approach to the field. CEMES provides various platforms for researchers to create and discuss their research on European history and developments within areas such as, among others, culture, media, politics, international relations, religion, philosophy, and literature.
The steering group will give special attention to applicants who apply for the following:
- Creative events or projects that rethink the traditional event
- Seed money to facilitate external research applications in European studies as defined in the guidelines.
